How important is a pre-operative detox?

Pre-operative detox is recommended to prepare the body before an operation, as it allows for better recovery, rapid regeneration of the skin, acceleration of the immune system process and elimination of toxins.

This also improves tissue inflammation and favors the elimination of fluids and toxins from our body, so its application before an operation is used so that the body recovers from surgery more easily.

Body by Bemilly is an Advanced Medical Post Op Care Center, where we tailor each treatment based upon our patients needs. Whether you just had surgery or are a few months out,  our team is licensed and certified to provide the best proper care after surgery. These treatments are for those who need assistance with proper drainage, alleviate body fluid retention, inflammation, restore tissue after liposuction and abdominoplasty (tummy-tuck) and also for those who need continuous post-op care.

We recommend seeing our patients three times a week (we will modify visits as needed). If presenting fibrosis (lumps/bumps) or not 100% healed, we will help with proper care, depending on the patient's needs. Your overall healing process will be guided by a combination of gentle manual lymphatic drainage & many other techniques to accelerate your healing.  These treatments will help you with proper drainage, alleviating body fluid retention and inflammation.

What is it?

Hyperbaric chamber therapy, otherwise known as hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), is a medical treatment used to help boost the body’s natural healing processes.

How does it work?

The HBOT works by exposing your body's atmosphere of 100% oxygen in an enclosed chamber where the atmospheric pressure is increased and controlled. By exposing your body to 100% oxygen, this can accelerate the healing process by allowing more oxygen to reach damaged areas.
